Over 200 journalists, high profile Australians and interested members of the public attended the Launch of A Species In Denial on the top floor of the Australian Museum in Sydney, overlooking Hyde Park. Eddie Coffey, of Peribo books, said it was the second largest audience for a book launch he had seen in his over 50 years in book publishing.

National Tour June 2003
Jeremy Griffith and Tim Macartney-Snape went on an Australia-wide tour to promote the Launch of A Species In Denial. Considering the FHA was boycotting the ABC and the Sydney Morning Herald (until they apologise and make satisfactory redress—see Defamation Actions) this promotional tour and media response was highly successful.
