Print Edition Notes to the Reader
- In the 2003 and 2004 print editions of A Species In Denial certain passages were omitted and left as blanks because they touched on sub judice issues concerning defamation actions taken by this author and others, the details of which are available on the WTM’s website <www.humancondition.com>. These few passages are now able to be included and so the presentation in this publication is now complete.
- Additions have been made since the print editions however the page numbers in the print editions have been included in the margin so a reader can relate the print editions to this slightly expanded electronic version.
- The page numbers given in the Contents are the print editions’ page numbers that are included in the margin NOT the page numbers of this electronic version.
- Page 7 of
Print Edition The underlinings within quotes throughout this book are the author’s emphasis unless otherwise stated. The underlinings in the author’s writing is for emphasis or, in most cases, to indicate a particular subject is being addressed.
- There is no bibliography at the conclusion of this book because the source is given in small text at the end of each quote, where the reader can see immediately when and where the quote was made. Also, rather than give the particular edition and/or publisher of the book that the quote comes from, the page number where the quote appears and the total number of pages of the particular edition used for the source is given. This enables the reader to find the comparative place of the quote in any edition.
- There are references in this book to Jeremy Griffith’s earlier book Beyond The Human Condition (1991). The full text of Beyond The Human Condition is freely available on the WTM’s website at <www.humancondition.com/beyond>. Alternatively, copies can be purchased from good bookshops or online sellers such as Amazon.
