Chapter 7:1 Summary

They were to explain the human condition itself (the psychosis-addressing-and-solving explanation for which was presented in chapter 3); to explain the meaning of our lives (which was done in chapter 4); to explain how humans acquired our extraordinary unconditionally selfless moral sense (the answer to which was presented in chapter 5); and, finally, to explain how humans became conscious when other animals haven’t, the answer to which will now be presented in this chapter.
